Help us provide each individual with quality services
As an agency licensed by the State of Minnesota and funded by Medicaid (MA), we are paid a rate set by the state. We depend on this income to cover our day to day expenses; however, recently our industry received a 7% rate cut. When this happens we are forced to eliminate many needed improvements to our facility and our programs.
You can support our program by making a cash donation, partnering with us, or purchasing our locally made items listed below.
Each step in the development of the products below provide our workers with paid employment. As a non-profit, all the proceeds made from the sales of these items are used to maintain the highest quality of services that we offer to persons with disabilities in New Ulm and Madelia.

Our fire starters are made from 100% donated materials. Empty paper towel and toilet paper rolls are stuffed with the shredded paper that we produce and then dipped into melted wax. After several dips into the wax, the rolls are dried and packaged into bags of 10. The fire starters are sold at all of our sites for $3.00 a bags and can be used in campfires, fireplaces, bonfires and for burning garbage.
Local thrift shops and churches often save their used candles for us, but we gladly accept donations of empty paper towel and toilet paper rolls and loose candles without glass from anyone!
